CHINA: Universities 'must give more information'
Over 76.2% of Chinese surveyed online have said university information disclosure in China is not good enough, reports the official agency Xinhua. About 1,900 people participated in the survey, which was published in China Youth Daily and conducted by the newspaper's social investigation centre.It indicated that many students about to enter university are resorting to personal networks to get the information they need.
More than 70% of the respondents said China's universities need to publish more information about the curriculum, teachers and employment perspectives. Moreover, 74.6% of the respondents said the universities should provide guidance about study and life on their campuses.
